Empire America is on the verge of collapse. Its social, economic and political systems are failed and failing.

The measures taken by successive governments to save the politically corrupt, morally bankrupt, physically decrepit giant from collapse have served to only hasten its demise. While the decline has been decades in the making, the acceleration of ruinous policies under the current Administration is leading the United States – and much of the world – to the point of no return.

The "green shoots" sighted by Field Marshall Bernanke this past spring were a mirage. The 2010 economic "recovery" predicted by the same experts, authorities and financial boy scouts and cheerleaders who didn't see the economic crisis coming is pure delusion.

By 2012, even those in denial and still clinging to hope will be forced to face the truth. It will be called "Obamageddon" in America. The rest of the world will call it "The Greatest Depression."

While introducing an interview that appeared on NBC-TV on September 11, 2001, Tom Brokaw referred to Hyman Brown as the “architect” of the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers.[i]

Hyman Brown was not the architect of the Twin Towers.

In an article that appeared on September 10, 2007, The Jerusalem Post referred to Hyman Brown as the “Twin Towers chief engineer.”[ii]

Hyman Brown was not the Twin Towers chief engineer.

Hyman Brown, in various books, articles, lectures, and television interviews has been referred to as the “architect . . . chief engineer . . . project engineer [iii]. . . construction manager[iv] . . . fifth in command ”[v] of the Twin Towers.

None of it is true. What’s more, Hyman Brown admits that none of it is true, although he has made no effort to set the record straight.

The Twin Towers were designed by architect Minoru Yamasaki in the early 1960s . . . when Hyman Brown was an undergraduate at City College of New York.[vi] Construction on the Twin Towers took place in the late 1960’s . . . when Hyman Brown was attending California State University at Los Angeles. The Twin Towers were completed in 1971 . . . when Hyman Brown was employed at Tishman Realty and Construction in Los Angeles. According to his own resume,[vii] Hyman Brown began working at the World Trade Center in 1972, a full year after the Twin Towers were dedicated.[viii] Did he hold a position of authority after 1972? Maybe. But he held no important position before then, although everywhere he goes, from Boulder to Jerusalem, he strives to leave the impression that he did.

In a history of the World Trade Center entitled City in the Sky, architect Minoru Yamasaki is referred to six times, chief engineer John Skilling thirteen times, structural engineer Leslie Robertson eight times, and construction manager Ray Monti six times, but Hyman Brown is not mentioned.[ix] In a personal email to me, Leslie Roberston said that he never heard of Hyman Brown.[x] How could that be? How could the structural engineer not know the identity of the “architect”, the “chief engineer”, the “production manager”? Is that credible?

In an interview with me, conducted in June of 2008, Hyman Brown admitted that he held none of the titles attributed to him. “It was my first job out of college, I was 25 years old, and I was the guy who sharpened the pencils. . . . It was my job to open the trailer and make coffee in the morning.”

But even those modest claims are probably not true.

When I asked him how he could simultaneously be in graduate school in Los Angeles and an engineer in New York, Brown told me that he “commuted” between New York and Los Angeles from 1967 through 1970, but is that credible? The typical salary for a novice engineer in 1966 was approximately $9,000, or $173 a week. The cost of a one-way ticket from Los Angeles to New York during that period was $217.65,[xi] which means that a round trip ticket was probably around $400. To believe that Hyman Brown commuted between New York and Los Angeles on the company’s dime, you have to believe that Tishman Realty, which had a fixed contract of $3.5 million, paid weekly travel fees in excess of salary for a novice engineer, who, by his own admission, did little more than make coffee. Is that credible? It is even less credible that Brown footed the bill himself, since the 1967 cost of a round trip flight was more than double his salary. And even if he did commute, how could he possibly work full time in New York and attend school full time in Los Angeles? No matter how you slice it, the story doesn’t add up.

Why is this information important?

1. Hyman Brown is often cited as an “expert” on the construction of the World Trade Center. In the Tom Brokaw piece, for example, “architect” Hyman Brown “explained” why the Twin Towers collapsed. In a public talk in Boulder, Colorado, “5th in command” Hyman Brown “explained” how the steel beams melted.[xii] Hyman Brown is cited as an authority in documentaries made by the History Channel and the BBC, and even 9-11 Truth champion David Ray Griffin has quoted “construction manager” Hyman Brown.[xiii] Brown’s remarks are considered valuable because he was there. Problem is, he wasn’t there, in all probability, and even if he was, all he did was make coffee.

2. Brown’s “expert analysis” always supports the official Bush administration myth. Always. Brown “explains” why the steel melted and the buildings collapsed, even though his “explanation” has no basis in engineering, architecture, the forensic evidence, the temperature of jet fuel, the melting point of steel, or the laws of physics, and he uses his “authority” as “architect”, “chief engineer”, “production manager”, and “5th in command” to gain instant credibility. And when people believe him, they believe the Official Myth. I know people with PhD’s in the sciences who parrot Bush Administration propaganda because they heard Hyman Brown “explain” it to them. But if Hyman Brown was not “architect”, “chief engineer”, or “production manager”, if Hyman Brown was an undergraduate when the Twin Towers were planned, if Hyman Brown was in California when the Twin Towers were built, if Hyman Brown is a complete stranger to the men who actually built the Twin Towers, what does that say about his credibility?

3. The Myth of 9-11, for which “chief engineer” Hyman Brown is one of the most vocal spokesmen, has been used to justify unprovoked attacks on Iraq and Afghanistan, the murder of between 100,000 and 1,000,000 Iraqi citizens, the building of concentration camps, domestic spying, suspension of habeas corpus, torture, the payment of billions of dollars to shady defense contractors, a national debt that is counted in the trillions, and hundreds of other domestic and foreign policy disasters. Indeed, The Myth of 9-11 is so entrenched that Barack Obama himself pledged to go after the terrorists in Afghanistan. It might seem like an innocent prank to fake your credentials and get on TV, but Hyman Brown’s testimony is far from innocent. He did not create the 9-11 Myth, of course, but he lied in order to perpetuate it, and he lied early, when the myth was still being formed. It would have developed without him, I’m sure, but in his small way, he has been a cog in the Death Machine.xi

The question is, why was NBC News interviewing Hyman Brown in the first place, on the very day of the 9-11 disaster, when he

. . . wasn’t the architect (although Tom Brokaw claimed he was)?

. . . wasn’t the project engineer (although NBC correspondent Roger O’Neal claimed he was)?

. . . wasn’t even living in New York when the Twin Towers were built?

Why did NBC call him? Or did he call them? But if they called him, why? Where did they get his name? He isn’t mentioned in any book I have read about the construction of the Twin Towers. His own resume places him in California during the years when the Twin Towers were built. Why call him when people who played key roles in the project were available? Was his name on a list? And if so, where did that list come from? Who compiled it? Was the Bush administration involved? Why call him when five minutes of fact-checking would have revealed that he was neither “architect” nor “construction manager”? Why did NBC fail to do that fact-checking? And if he called them, why? Was it ego? Was it delusions of grandeur? Was he seeking his 15 minutes of fame? Or was he on the payroll of the Bush administration? Was it Hyman Brown’s job to spread disinformation? And why did NBC bite? Were they merely incompetent or were they actively seeking an “expert” to lend credence to the Official Myth?

I don’t know the answers to those questions. All I know is, something fishy is going on.

Mexico’s Calderon Declares Emergency Amid Swine Flu Outbreak

April 25 (Bloomberg) -- Mexican President Felipe Calderon declared an emergency in his country’s swine flu outbreak, giving him powers to order quarantines and suspend public events.

The first case was seen in Mexico on April 13. The outbreak coincided with President Barack Obama’s trip to Mexico City on April 16. Obama was received at Mexico’s anthropology museum in Mexico City by Felipe Solis, a distinguished archeologist who died the following day from symptoms similar to flu, Reforma newspaper reported. The newspaper didn’t confirm if Solis had swine flu or not.

Medical researchers in Japan have released a study which suggests that the anti-flu drug Tamiflu may not be the saviour that it's been painted. They say that it increases what's referred to as 'abnormal behaviour' in young people who take the drug.

Tamiflu is used to treat various types of influenza and governments around the world have amassed enormous stockpiles of it just in case of a pandemic of bird flu.

For now though, the only country which sees Tamiflu prescribed on a regular basis for the flu is Japan, where there have been reports of children going so far as trying to jump from balconies after taking the drug over there.

April 15th - Ain't it Just Ducky!

It’s that time again, time to pay the bankers what is owed at gunpoint. Back in the day, when fear of the IRS was not as prevalent as it is today, the government employed Hollywood propaganda to make the plebs feel good about forking over their hard-won earnings.

In the cartoon here, produced in 1943 during the Second World War, Donald Duck is pressed into service to make Americans feel good about paying taxes. Donald’s cartoon was rolled out the same year Milton Friedman, a Treasury Department economist at the time, came up with the idea of imposing a withholding tax.

In 1940 the government decided the quarterly installment plan for paying taxes wasn’t going to work — not with a huge and expensive war on the horizon — so the idea came to Friedman and his fellow bureaucrats to steal the money before the average pleb received his paycheck. In 1943, with the contrived war going full-tilt boogie and the masses sufficiently brainwashed with ad nauseam patriotism and the hyped-up threat posed by Hitler and Hirohito, the government imposed the withholding tax. It also cranked up the tax rate.

After the war the Treasury admitted the wartime withholding not only “greatly eased the collection of the tax,” but “also greatly reduced the taxpayer’s awareness of the amount of tax being collected, i.e. it reduced the transparency of the tax, which made it easier to raise taxes in the future.” It was grand theft larceny on a monumental scale.

In fact, it can be argued that the war was nothing if not a master scam perpetuated by the bankers in order to further enrich themselves and increase their power and influence.

As the late Antony C. Sutton revealed, there is plenty of documentary evidence a number of critical associations between the Wall Street international bankers and the rise of Hitler and Nazism in Germany. “Wall Street financed the German cartels in the mid-1920s which in turn proceeded to bring Hitler to power,” writes Sutton, and “the financing for Hitler and his S.S. street thugs came in part from affiliates or subsidiaries of U.S. firms, including Henry Ford in 1922, payments by I.G. Farben and General Electric in 1933, followed by the Standard Oil of New Jersey and I.T.T.” The international bankers used political influence in the U.S. to cover up their wartime collaboration.

Recall George Bush’s grandfather, the late senator Prescott Bush, was a director and shareholder of companies that profited from involvement with the financial backers of Nazi Germany. “Remarkably, little of Bush’s dealings with Germany has received public scrutiny, partly because of the secret status of the documentation involving him,” write Ben Aris and Duncan Campbell for The Guardian.

Remarkably? It is simply business as usual.

The same crew of international bankers also backed the Bolshevik Revolution and subsequently profited from the establishment of a Soviet Russia and the astronomically expensive Cold War. (See Sutton’s Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler, p. 124.)

In her book, Web of Debt, Ellen Hodgson Brown writes that the unconstitutional income tax established with the passage of the Sixteenth Amendment in 1913 was “instituted primarily to secure a reliable source of money to pay the interest due to the bankers on the government’s securities [debt securities], and that continues to be its principal use today.” The illegal income tax was imposed on the clueless plebs (it was sold as a “soak the rich” scheme by the bankers) at the same time the privately owned Federal Reserve was established to keep the “taxpayers in perpetual debt for money created privately with accounting entries,” in other words funny money created out of thin air.

Hollywood no longer needs to make cartoons to convince us paying taxes to international bankers is the “patriotic” thing to do. Millions of people accept this federally enforced fleecing operation with a mixture of resignation and fear. In fact, decades of propaganda have reduced many Americans to the point where they believe forking over a huge share of their earnings is a positive thing. Of course, they have no idea the money is going to the bankers.

“Just less than half of U.S. residents asked say the amount of federal income taxes they pay is ‘about right,’ a Gallup Poll reported on April 8, according to United Press International.

On November 4th, as people all over the country celebrated an Obama victory, over 70 men, women, and children lay dead in Afghanistan after U.S. bombs rained down on two wedding celebrations. Over the last two years, hundreds of Afghan civilians have been killed in this way, since the U.S. considers any large gathering to be inherently hostile. And there are plans to escalate. Defense Secretary Robert Gates (who will also be Obama’s Defense Secretary) is sending 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan by this summer. Meanwhile in Iraq, General Odierno just announced that the U.S. will violate their promise of withdrawing combat troops from urban areas in Iraq by June 30th 2009. Contrary to public opinion, the Iraq war is not “winding down” or “over.” There are still 149,000 troops in Iraq. Obama has not been promising to end the Iraq war, but to leave a “residual force” of 50-80,000 troops (not including mercenary soldiers employed by companies like Blackwater) in Iraq – and he is already preparing to break even that weak promise by pledging to “listen to the generals.” How is the new commander-in-chief going to deal with the challenges of being the #1 superpower in the world, dominating resources and controlling economies of other countries in the name of the “war on terror”? Apparently, Obama has plans to expand the U.S. military by 92,000 troops.



Where are they going to get the soldiers to fight their wars? They are in high school right now! In addition to the standard arsenal of college money, job training, “have an experience,” “get some discipline and structure,” “give your life a purpose,” military recruiters now have some new weapons which they have been using to exceed their recruiting goals. For one thing, the election of Obama has summoned a “new spirit of patriotism and service,” as he put it in his victory speech. Whereas under Bush the war effort had come to be viewed by the vast majority as illegitimate, now there are more people believing in America’s “new direction”… and willing to fight for it. Some inner city youth are saying that they wouldn’t fight for this government, but would fight for Obama. Another common tactic reportedly used by recruiters these days is the lie (yes, recruiters lie) that it is now safe to join up because Obama is going to end the war. And then there is the economic factor, rising unemployment and the promise of a steady paycheck. As David Chu, the undersecretary of defense for personnel and readiness, said, “I don’t have the Dow Jones banner running up behind me here this morning, but that is a situation where more people are willing to give us a chance.”

This month, Barack Obama was meeting with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other lawmakers when Rahm Emanuel, his chief of staff, began nervously cracking a knuckle.

Obama then turned to complain to Emanuel about his noisy habit.

At which point, Emanuel held the offending knuckle up to Obama's left ear and – like an annoying little brother – snapped off a few cracks.

The episode underscores some essential truths about Emanuel: He is brash, has a deep comfort level with his new boss and has been ever-present at Obama's side of late, in meetings, on podia and in numerous photographs.

"Has a deep comfort level with his boss"? They're kidding, right?

More like that was a "screw you I'm in charge" moment - call it disrepectful if nothing else!

The Media lie. They are basically whores. They will say ANYTHING to keep their paychecks coming and to keep their cushy lifestyles intact.

I'm from the radio generation. I grew up with my radio glued to my ear. I have always enjoyed listening to the radio and it's a habit I've had to work to break. I have to break it because the majority (99.9%) of the talking heads on the radio are LIARS. They are complicit in the Big Lie that keeps getting told over and over. Tell a lie or lies loud enough and often enough and people will believe you.

And when you attempt to call a radio show or email a host with some info what does the 'host' do? They yell over you, call you a "nut" and tell you to "watch out for black helicopters". Morons, all of them.

Yelling over someone and calling them names does not mean you're right. It just means you (the media whore) are stupid and lazy.

I was listening to a local yokel radio show yesterday, "The Morning Magazine with Mark Larson" Mark Larson, the helmet-haired host, lords over his show with race-baiting comments and lots of lies just like the rest of the talking heads. Yesterday he was talking about this past weekend's run on the bank in California and was telling his listeners to spread their deposits around so they would not have more than $100,000 in any one account. Good advice. But when I sent him an email requesting he research and discuss Fiat Money and Fractional Reserve Banking he replied that he had just gone to his bank and got a cashiers check for a closing (the slum lord closing on another property)his money was there. And then he told me to "watch out for the "black helicopters".



So that's it, isn't it? Never discuss the private "Federal" "Reserve" Bank. And call anyone who attempts to ask you to discuss it a wacko by using the old "black helicopter" epithet.

Unfortunately, the majority of sheeple get their "news" from helmet-heads like Larson and will never be told the truth nor will they ever take the time to read a book or research anything for themselves!

The media whores and their masters are counting on this - the ignorance and apathy of the sheeple. And as long as the sheeple are FAT and HAPPY on their collective couches all doped up on state dope (SSRI drugs, etc) with a beer in one hand and the remote control in the other the minority of us who actually take the time to research The System are strapped in for the ride. How can you sleep while your bed is burning?

I'm miffed!  I'm "angry" and yes, even "bitter". 

Why?

I'm upset about the direction that the entities of very questionable character who steer "Spaceship Earth" have been headed.  And I'm most definitely NOT going to go running around like a FAT ASS with my pittance check (blood money) to theoretically "stimulate the economy".  Oh... you mean I am supposed to run out and pretend to "stimulate" the pretend system?  "Stimulate" the fiat joke we toil under because I am told I should?  Hell no!

When your blood money gets to your hands - stop - wait a moment - and think about the whole mess.  Not just the price of gas and food and sudden rationing and mortgage foreclosures and loss of jobs, etc. etc.  Think about what that money really is...you're being lied to, you are bought and sold by this system - hook, line and sinker!  How about instead you act defiantly with your blood money and for once do not do what you are told.  Don't spend it on consumer goods.  In fact, I am boycotting all consumer goods for the rest of this month as a protest and I encourage you to boycott spending as well.  I am sending my blood money right back to the bank from whence it came to pay off a credit card.  And when I do I will say another prayer that the people of the planet become enlightened and start thinking for themselves!

Feds to collect DNA from every person they arrest

WASHINGTON - The government plans to begin collecting DNA samples from anyone arrested by a federal law enforcement agency — a move intended to prevent violent crime but which also is raising concerns about the privacy of innocent people.

Using authority granted by Congress, the government also plans to collect DNA samples from foreigners who are detained, whether they have been charged or not. The DNA would be collected through a cheek swab, Justice Department spokesman Erik Ablin said Wednesday. That would be a departure from current practice, which limits DNA collection to convicted felons.
